Michelle is a co-founder of FIT and has served in many roles during the company’s history—from client services, to account management, to operations. She currently focuses on human resources as Chief People Officer, and is a driving force of the culture at FIT.
Outside of FIT, Michelle is on The Greater Cleveland Partnership board, and an advisor on their Equity + Inclusion committee. She also serves on the board of Cleveland Rape Crisis Center, Arts Impact, and Warehouse District, Inc. Recently, Michelle became Board Emeritus for Plexus LGBTQ and Allied Chamber of Commerce where she served for over a decade as their Board President.
As an alum of Leadership Cleveland, she is active as a facilitator and committee member. Michelle also speaks locally and nationally on a variety of topics—from entrepreneurship to leadership, equity, and culture development.
Michelle is a self-proclaimed (un)Official Ambassador of Cleveland, ready to highlight a reason this region is a great place to live and work, or to introduce connections within her network. She supports many nonprofits through events and fundraisers, and is active in civic initiatives throughout the year. In addition, Michelle enjoys cycling and running, cheering on our sports teams, patronizing local restaurants, and organizing efforts at a community garden.
